Hi all! I'm looking for recommendations on a Tele bridge pickup that will avoid the ice pick and gives some fatter, rounder tones. Don't want a humbucker like the Lil' 59. Not sure I want to go as raunchy as the SD Quarter Pounder.

I've seen a lot of good reviews about the Fralin Blues Special Tele. I'm considering purchasing a set Blues Specials for my Strat. Here's the link: Fralin Blues Special Tele
Folks also like their Vintage Hot Tele pickups.

I might have to try out the Fralins. I don't like that they're "Hot", but other than that I've always been intrigued.

Hi Mark, you might want to try the Fralin Blues Special, they're supposed to be a bit warmer than the Vintage Hot. Everyone I know really likes them.
