I sometmes feel like it's easier to play withouta pick, because I'm not sure if I hold mine correctly, which limits my range of motion (or so it feels that way anyhow). I tend to have the point of the pick pointed down toward the top of my index finger instead of across. Image attached. I seem to be able to play much more freely, both strumming and playing lead. Anyone else struggle with this?
