All guitar-related topics are welcome! en-US Sun, 16 Aug 2026 23:13:19 +0000 wpForo 60 https://dawtopia.com/markz-guitar/guitar-techniques-and-theory/pick-or-no-pick-plectrum/ Mon, 26 Jun 2023 17:48:30 +0000 I sometmes feel like it's easier to play withouta pick, because I'm not sure if I hold mine correctly, which limits my range of motion (or so it feels that way anyhow).  I tend to have the point of the pick pointed down toward the top of my index finger instead of across. Image attached.  I seem to be able to play much more freely,  both strumming and playing lead.  Anyone else struggle with this?
